can I block wool? I'm doing a butterfly stitch pattern for my sisters scarf and it's really hard to see the butterflies, if I blocked it would that help? I'm using kp wota bulky and size 10 needles.

You can for sure block wool, and it will probably make a vast difference in the stitch definition of your project. Definitely go for it.
