A few weeks ago I was trying to learn to knit but was trying ambitious projects. So I decided maybe I should limit myself to dishcloths for now until I really get the knit stitch and my tension down. Is 100 % cotton best for dishcloths?
(Sorry if this has been asked before)
Thanks!
Jessica

yep! 100% cotton is what you'll want for dishcloths. Something like Lily's 'sugar n' cream' or lion brand's 'lion cotton' are probably the most often used.

I usually use 100% cotton for my washcloths and a cotton acrylic blend for my dishcloths. The acrylic is a little scratchier and makes a better dishcloth. I made 28 washcloths for christmas the year i learned to knit!!!
