I'm looking for books to assist me with my designing aspirations. Particuarly those that have lots of stitch designs, like the Harmony Guides, etc. I'm also interseted in technique specific books(ie lace, fair isle, etc.) Oh and books that are written to help in designing your own pieces, like Handy Book of Patterns, etc. If anyone has anything along these lines that they would like to sell or trade let me know.

If you're looking for books about basic design techniques (e.g. how to make a sweater and tweak it to your specifications, formulas to calculate castons, etc.), try Elizabeth Zimmermann's books. (Sorry, I'm not giving up my copies!) :teehee:
