My name is Salma, I come from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. I started knitting a few months ago and haven't stopped! There's very little variety of yarn here but I get by :) I love this site 'cause its extremely helpful :)

Welcome Salma. But be careful, before you know it, you'll be collecting yarns and spending all your time on this site. Are you still in UAE? I would think that there would all kinds of exotic fibers for sale there?

Hi all,
Thank you for welcoming me :muah:
Are you still in UAE?
Yes, I live here :) In the future I'll try to post pictures of the city I live in, Abu Dhabi, which is also the capital of UAE
I would think that there would all kinds of exotic fibers for sale there?
We import yarn from all over the world, moslty acrylic yarn. I would like to try ordering yarn online, though.

Welcome, Salma! I think you're our first member from UAE! There are LOADS of cool places to buy yarn online, too - knitpicks.com, elann.com, and discountyarnsale.com are some that are relatively inexpensive but have good quality yarn.
