View Full Version : Is there a cable that looks better with bulkier yarn?

I picked up some Kool Wool (http://www.lionbrand.com/yarns/koolwool.htm) on clearance (discontinued) at Hobby Lobby and am thinking about using it for a cabled scarf. It's considered a bulky (5) yarn.

So I can't decide between the Irish Hiking Scarf (http://www.helloyarn.com/irishhikingscarfpf.htm), the Good Ole Cable Scarf (http://www.yarnagogo.com/good_ole_cabled_scarf/), or the Reversible Cable Scarf (http://cache.lionbrand.com/patterns/50368.html?noImages=0).

Since it's bulkier yarn, I figure fewer cables with less frequents twists would be better, is that correct?

Anybody have other favorite cabled scarf patterns?
