my 11 yo daughter just made Tapioca pudding fron scratch, the real way (except for the splenda) with NO HELP from me or anyone living person
i am SO PROUD of her

That's actually not that easy to do. My husband loves tapioca and I've tried a couple of times to teach him and he either ends up with rubber tapioca or smoke flavored tapioca. Good for your daughter for taking on the challenge! :cheering: :cheering: Sounds like a great girl! :cheering:

she is a great girl (don't tell her I said that)
it was a bit smokey, and Splenda was not as good as sugar, but it was A HUGE effort
and she did it splendedly

Love homemade tapioca; also rice pudding with raisins. Yum. Good for your dd!!

WOW! I once tried to make that from scratch for my ex-husband. It didn't turn out well, something about fish eyes and rubber. :rofl:

Very cool!

I remember one time when my Dad made tapioca. It came out like glue! He misread the directions and put in 2 3/4 cups of milk instead of
2 and 3/4 cups of milk. At first my mom was amazed that it turned out better than hers, until we realized the measuring mistake. He has never tried since. :teehee:
