Hi!

Does anyone know where I could find a knit version of this: http://www.gottahavahat.com/stockingjester/twintails.html

or this:
http://cache.lionbrand.com/patterns/60422.html

or preferably both? :D

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

:)

I must say, I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets excited about a pattern, only to find out it's for crochet! :)

This pattern looks somewhat similar to the Lion brand pattern:

Good luck!

I know! I wish sites like Lion Brandi would just convert the pattern to knit also! It makes me nuts! LOL

Thank you so much for the pattern, but I just adore the seamless look of the other... stinkin' crochet.

Sounds like you could just knit an earflap hat and make the earflaps really long.

I don't thing the Twin Tails cap is an earflap cap. I think it would start out as a regular cap, and then when you reach the point of beginning to decrease, one would divide the sts onto two needles and knit each of them in the round into a long cone..... Might have to increase a few at the beginning of the tails.... Shouldn't be too hard to figure out if one doesn't mind the hassle of frogging that may have to be done to get it "just right". :eyebrow:

I don't think I am advanced enough to do that. LOL

But thank you much for the advice!

I'm sorry but would somebody REALLY want to wear that first one?? That was scarey!

Well the first one isn't an earflap hat, for sure, but the second one which was crocheted is :D

Another earflap hat, but with really pointy flaps, like the Lion one:
