I designed a top down, seamless cardigan sweater for an 18" doll like the American Girl dolls. It is knit in a sport weight yarn with a size 5 circular needle. I wrote it because I am a fairly new knitting instructor at the local Michael's store and I needed an easy small project to teach something more than the basics. You would have to be able to do the magic loop for the sleeves, but other than that it is not difficult. I am not posting this pattern until after I use it for my classes, so whomever wants to test knit it would get an advance copy of the pattern. I have already knit one as I was writing the pattern, and Ingrid was kind enough to go through the pattern for mistakes, but I would love to know if the average knitter can do the pattern. I would be very appreciative to any volunteers!!
Thanks!
