Being a new knitter, I of course want every knitting needle under the sun and every book I find - even if I only like one pattern! But here's what I'm requesting:

-Rainbow colored Denise needles
-One Skein Wonder
-Vogue Stitchionary 1,2,3
-GC to my LYS!

For some reason my brain took a totally different path when I read this.

I wish written patterns made sense to me.
I wish I could knit and read at the same time.
I wish I could knit and sleep at the same time.
(I'm all about mulit-tasking!)

I just gave the Knit Picks catalog to my mom the other day with the page marked for the Options set.

Another thing that was on my list was a yarn swift but they gave me that last month.

I am a repeat beginner and I don't really know exactly what I want, I just want to keep knitting! This thread has great ideas. I think I'll at least be asking for:

The Sweater Workshop

No more CP pain in my wrist, so I can knit more.
A clean and finished house so I can knit more.
In my world, knitting takes care of itself. I just need to unblock everything that prevents me from knitting.

All I want for christmas is a skein of Step sock yarn. (That's all I want to knit these days, socks.)

When I saw the book knitting on the edge I wanted it so bad, I also want the stitchinary

Wow..you guys have just increased my wish list!

..and I too wish for a clean house so that I could knit more. If it could clean itself, that would be awesome.

I'm already an addicted sock knitter, and now I recently developed a new addiction - lace. So, these are the things I'd like:

1. books: A Gathering of Lace or Victorian Lace Today
2. lace weight yarn
3. to win the lottery so I can quit my job and knit all the time :teehee:
