Yup, it was. I've been making kitty or dog faces today too. Thanks!

I absolutely love looking at peoples snowflakes..I even reply to some just because.

Did anyone notice they are now donating X amount of dollars to the Salvation Army for a certain amount of flakes made? So get flaking folks...now its not just wasting time..its charity. :happydance:

How do you save your flake?

I just made a screenshot because I didn't know how either.

It is impossible to make an ugly one!

I literally just scribbled all over the page, and it still came out nice.

I LOVE snow and snowflakes!

One year I decided that I was going to make a snowflake for every day that it snowed. I used glue stick and applied to them to the outside of my dorm room door. By the end of the season, my door was COVERED!

Ah-ha! I just discovered that when you view them as they are falling you can click the + and it gets larger. Do a screenshot then and you'll have a bigger flake.

Oh! Okay then.. You can do a screenshot anytime by clicking "print screen" on your keyboard and then pasting it into your photo or graphic software and then resizing or whatever you need and saving it. If you don't have software there are some free ones you can try. These are both popular and pretty good.

Picasa (http://picasa.google.com/) from Google
Irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com/)

If you'd prefer to do it differently you can also download FastStone Capture (http://www.faststone.org/FSCaptureDetail.htm). I have graphic/photo software, but for little things like the snowflake this is awesome. I've used it for patterns and other things, too. Once you d/l it and install it you make sure it's open and then click "print screen" from your keyboard. It will open a window and you can select the area you want and from the screen and save it.

OK, I guess I'm overly enthusiastic in my cutting, I get the message

"You've reached your creative limit. Put down the scissors and no one gets hurt!"

and I have to undo, reset, or be done. It seems like there are ones that look more intricate than the ones I am making!

It's cute! You just need more cutouts to make it lacey/snowflakey. :teehee:
