Does anyone have a generic mitten pattern? I loaned my copy of The Knitters Book of Patterns and the lady I loaned it to has since moved and left our chuch and had her third child. I can get it back but it may take some time. Basically what I am looking for is a pattern for different guages of yarn and for children and adults.

Thanks

You could use this one (http://www.knitting-and.com/knitting/patterns/mittens/mitts-to-fit.html) and just add to it to make them into mittens.

Thanks, that is perfect. It funny, I am currently using a mitten pattern using worsted weight and making fingerless mitts. I want to use some bulky yarn so now I am going to use a fingerless mitt pattern to make mittens. :teehee:
