lol, really? No... I didnt even check the prices. I am trying to find a site that sells them. If they sell it in town, I'd like to go feel them at least. I don't like the LYS here, and I can't feel the yarn in knitpicks haha.

I believe the cashmere was $35 and that the other two were $45. Way too much especially when theres Elan and Knit Picks.

Odd.....I can't find the pricing anywhere where it used to be. Maybe they are rethinking their price schedule to a more reasonable amount. Either that or I am missing it somewhere on their site.

Maybe they took it off because people were really being put off by it. With those prices, I don't expect it to last very long.

I was expecting around 10-15 bucks too.

Yeah, they're more expensive than Rowan, for crying out loud! Honestly!

yeah i couldn't find it either when it was very easy to find the other pricing info. i would guess they got complaints....considering they went from one of their products being $10 or so not so long ago to a big jump of $30+ i would expect that it met with a lot of protest from people who actually wrote letters as opposed to just laughing at it like I did.

You can find the prices at the online store. www.e-yarn.com
The cashmere stuff. (http://pages.e-yarn.com/6030/InventoryPage/1694579/1.html)
Seriously. Anyone with access to any kind of yarn store or the internet or ANYthing should know this is not a good deal. I wonder who they think they're going this stuff to?

i buy Paton's at Michael's all the time, but would NEVER pay $35, let alone $15 for a Lion Brand yarn. I might as well buy Artyarns or something else real yummy for my needles.

I shop at these places and I would not buy it. A lot of the people (not all, I am not saying all) that buy yarn at Michaels (myself included) do so because it's cheaper. I'm just thinking maybe putting it in a store like that isn't really going to reach people who want to pay $40 for 100 yards of yarn.

Let me rephrase that... people who don't buy yarn anywhere other than HL, Joann's or Michael's.... and don't know about internet yarn buying.
