KNOCK! KNOCK!

Got a visit this morning from whassisname – you know – big bloke, red suit – rattles round with reindeer.

Said I should let you know when last mailing dates are for Christmas. Also said I should write it down because it was no use telling you – you’d never hear me.

He was complainin’ about all the racket you lot are making with the constant clatter of knitting needles up and down the continent.

How’s he and the elves supposed to get some sleep, he wants to know, with the clack of Addis, Knitpicks, Denises and the hell knows what else echoing all the way up to the North Pole night day and night? Most upset he was – said I’d no idea how the sound of two sticks clicking together could shatter his nerves.

Anyway, below is the info he gave me after I placated him with a pint and a pie and sent him on his merry way.

Most amusing post I've read in quite a while. :roflhard: :roflhard:

TY for the listing! We have several friends who are deployed this year & we want to send them care packages. :)

Hope no one minds that I've given this post a 'bump' - just thought it might be useful for anyone who can only access the site at weekends.

As usual, I'll be paying the big bucks to get the gifts to Germany in time. Had most of the stuff ready and wrapped weeks ago, but just dawdling on the last few and now dragging my feet to get to the post office.
