My sweater is a bit too big....wearable, but would look much better if it were smaller. I didn't block it; would blocking help make it smaller? It has lots of cables and stuff on it, so I'm wondering if the cables will become obscure when the sweater shrinks.

What fiber is it? If it's wool maybe you could felt it a little bit. :shrug: I have the
opposite problem with my sweater - it's too small!

It's a wool/acrylic mix.

I don't think there is anything you can do to make it smaller once it's done. If it were cotton it might shrink a bit, but wool and acrylic probably won't change. I doubt blocking will do anything either. :shrug:
