Here are some Christmas gifts. The mittens on the left are SWS Patons and are way too small! I forgot that a lot of people mentioned how fast it felts and I didn't check on them for awhile  The mittens on the right are God awful fugly ones made with yarn that my Mom requested :ick:

The clogs are a surprise for my Mom. We are a big Disney family, so I needlefelted MM heads on them :teehee:

I love the clogs, how do you needle felt?
too bad the sws mittens are too small, I agree with you on your mom's choice of color :ick: but I'm sure she'll like them.

:roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: She better!!

I have a needle felting kit that I bought at Stitches that's made by Fiber Trends. I just googled it for an example here (http://www.mielkesfarm.com/ndl_flt_kit.htm). You're basically taking unspun wool and poking it over and over and over and over into the finished product. The needles are VERY sharp and have little barbs on the end of them, which helps the fiber catch and stay put. It's very cool!

Actually, I tried on the Patons mittens as they are mostly dry. They are tight, but I think I'll keep them for myself! :teehee: I love the colors!

Awesome gifts, Andrea! Can you give the mittens to a smaller person/child? We love Disney, too. :teehee:

This post's Swedish word/phrase: "Jag skrattar så att jag har kramp i magen!" = "I'm laughing so hard I have a stomach cramp!"

Oh Andrea... :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: Those are by far the fugliest mittens I've ever seen on this board... They're hideous!!! :roflhard:

But the clogs are beautiful!!! :muah:
