Lamb's Pride worsted...seems like plain old worsted to me, but LYS owner told me it was heavy worsted. ?
I guess I am wondering if it's true, do you agree with her?...
I don't want to cast on and end up frogging later.
In the meantime, I'll just busy myself with a gauge swatch.
I just don't want a thin hat if heavy worsted would knit up cozier and warmer.

YES YES YES. At least, that's my humble opinion. :) Actually, I'm very interested in what other people think about this. When I'm knitting with it, I always think "Did I accidentally get bulky?" but the gauge isn't THAT different. (New Year's Resolution...learn how to spell guage without a spell check.)
