I would really like to create a baby blanket with a similar X and O pattern. However, I'd prefer the X's and O's to be more widely spaced and without the ribbing between rows.

Has anyone ever seen a similar pattern (doesn't have to be for a blanket, but something I could adapt)? Or does anyone have any suggestions on adapting the Besotted pattern?
