Hi all,

I'm making the scrunchable scarf using Malabrigo (Chunky, not worsted weight.) I bought two hanks of it at my LYS this weekend, thinking it would be enough. Each hank is 104 yards. However, I only have about 10 or 11 inches of the scarf so far, and the yarn is disappearing faster than I'd like! I'm wondering if I should run back there tomorrow and get a third hank, just in case, before it's gone from the store.

My question is this: does 208 yards of chunky yarn seem like enough? I'm knitting it on size 11 needles, and I cast on 29 stitches.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

It should be enough, but how wide is it coming out? With size 11 needles you should be getting something like 3 sts/inch, so thatt's about 9" wide...? Try going down to 20 stitches or so.
