I have had this one (http://www.garnstudio.com/lang/en/visoppskrift.php?d_nr=b6&d_id=18&lang=us) on my list for a while, but just never got around to making it for anybody.

oh and this book (http://www.amazon.com/Itty-Bitty-Hats-cuddly-babies-toddlers/dp/1579652956) has a super cute one knit with Kureyon and then lined with flannel or felt or whatever...it is adorable!

Julie from KH has this one on her blog, but now that I look at it I think it might be for adults. You could PM her and ask if she has one for kids.

I have made a gazillion of them (or at least that's the way it feels :D ) ...if you like my pattern (linked above) feel free to PM me with your gauge and the desired head circumference and I'd be glad to alter it for you.

The book Last Minute Knitted Gifts has a pattern called Kim's Hats. It has sizing for baby-adult with variations for earflaps.

I made DD (who is 2) Cameron's Cap. It uses short rows to form the "earflaps". You could easily add icord ties. She looks adorable in her hat. The picture in the pattern really does not do it justice, it is a great hat. I also made one for my mom and now my brother wants one.

I did not hem the bottom as instructed in the pattern, just left it to roll up.
