Thank you all for the help I've received so far with the bootie pattern I though would be easy.

Yes - I'm stuck again, I read this pattern before I started and thought it looked easy enough - I was wrong :oops:

I have 19 stitches left on the needle - which is correct.

The next two parts I am stuck on, the pattern says:

Shape Instep

Next Row K14 and turn. Turn?
Next Row P9 and turn.***
Work 10 Rows in stst on center 9 what about the other 10 stitches?
Break off Yarn
**** With rs facing, pick up and K8 st evenly down side of instep ????, knit across 9 st of instep pick up and K8 st evenly down side of instep then k across the remaining 5 sts.

Knit 7 rows.

Turns? Pickup? missing out stitches?

Have I got myself into a pickle that I can't get out of?
