That will be a wonderful sale for anyone that wants one. I recently bought a full spectrum light and I LOVE it. In fact, I bought two. One in my living room near the chair where I knit. Then the other in my craft room near my embroidery machine. So wonderful to SEE the true colors of the threads now. :happydance: :happydance:

Hmm, I have been knitting a garment, with 4 colors, and by day they are gorgeous.
AT NIGHT...under my crappy lamp; two of the colors look the same.
Driving me batty.

Questions: do the bulbs last a long time?
Do you use this lamp all the time or only when you're checking for color accuracy/matching.

I went to Home Depot last night and got a full spectrum lamp for $20 and it works very well! I don't have anything to compare to, but it seems to work for me. ;)

looks like the sale price for mine was 85 bucks. Hmm, Home Depot, huh?

Darn, I already broke down the box for this thing!!!! Oh well, at least I like it a lot!

I didn't know it was there. I've been going to an uber-exclusive shop that's as expensive as a crack habit and to Michael's and to a low end craft store that's loaded with Red Heart and very limited wool and better yarn. I may regret having found it.

It always starts that way.

I went, I saw, I conquered. I also nabbed a floor model sewing basket for half price because one of the little legs was gone.

Nevertheless, ick. I feel like I need a bath after being there. It wasn't clean. The yarn selection was the worst I've seen. The knitting needles were practically nonexistent.

Good thing I'm stubborn. A lesser woman would've walked in and immediately back out.
