I started knitting Because of my Nan, not in spite of her - even though I didn't pick up the needles until three years after she passed away I still look at my WIP's and every now and again think, "Nan would have been proud".

She wasn't a great a knitter, she wasn't even a regular knitter but if something needed knitting she's be there a-clicking the needles.

I'd be proud to knit like my Nan!
