i was thinking it'd be nice to get myself a knitting magazine subscription, but i have no idea where to start looking. i know i've flipped through them occasionally in stores, and they seemed kinda oldfashioned.
are there any newer magazines that are out that have some fresher designs and patterns?

Interweave Knits, Vogue Knitting, Knit 1, Yarn Forward, Simply Knitting, Knit Today, Knitting - take your pick!

The first three are US publications, the rest are UK publications.

I subscribe to IK, Yarn Forward and Simply Knitting, the rest I pick up when and if they're in the newsagents.
