Please, allow me to say that I am not saying this to brag about me, rather to brag about he who spoils me.
I've been a member here since shortly after KH began and have met and made many friends, so ya'll know who I'm talking about. I've been away because of health reasons for the majority of the time since Nov, so you newbies don't know who I'm talking about...well, I am talking about the one and only.... :cheering:  Lonnie  :cheering: He has spoiled me all of our married lives together by surprising me all of the time with anything from silly putty to diamonds. We have finally made it to a place in our marriage where we don't have to struggle so much with $ all of the time, so he spoils me much more often and brings home surprises all of the time....well, just a few days ago he surprised me with these (http://shop.crocs.com/pc-61-4-disney-beach.aspx?reqid=61&reqProdTypeId=41p&subsectionname=footwear&section=products) (mine are pearl and pink) and later in the same day he surprised me with these (http://shop.crocs.com/pc-13-4-endeavor.aspx?reqid=13&reqProdTypeId=41p&subsectionname=footwear&section=products) (the sea blue, I don't have that color). And then there are the countless knitty things that he either surprises me with or encourages me to get should he hear me mention it or see me looking at something online or in the yarn shop when we are out, you can read about them on my blog (http://whimsicalknitting.blogspot.com/) if you so choose.

Well, I had to pop in and do some :cheering: BIG TIME :cheering: bragging today (and I'd better hurry because he just popped his head out of the bedroom door to say "I know you still aren't sitting there!!"...he is very protective of me and my health, too! So, I didn't have time to edit the photos.)
As most of you know, while I've been away from the forum I've been on bedrest and on my good days when all is well with my hip/leg (lol, as well as it gets for me, anyway...LOL!...don't get me wrong, I am [i]very, very blessed, in many, many ways!!) I can't sit for long periods of time and many of you have said that i should have a laptop, but the time wasn't right (Christmas, my daughter's car was stolen, my daughter moving into her 1st house, in other words...life often gets in the way of large purchases....and we all know that!). And we have been talking about getting a laptop in a few months, I had hoped around our anniversary in May.
WELL, He Who Spoils Becka  had been scheming and walked in today with http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y119/rebeccame/Yarn%20Porn%20and%20Other%20Goodies/th_laptopsurprisecont.jpg (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y119/rebeccame/Yarn%20Porn%20and%20Other%20Goodies/laptopsurprisecont.jpg) to my absolute astonishment!!!http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y119/rebeccame/Yarn%20Porn%20and%20Other%20Goodies/th_laptopsurprise2-18-07.jpg (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y119/rebeccame/Yarn%20Porn%20and%20Other%20Goodies/laptopsurprise2-18-07.jpg) CAN YOU BELIEVE?! I'm absolutely, positively  STUNNED!
THANK YOU, LONNIE....you will always wear the http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y119/rebeccame/crown.gif(but not girly looking ) as the BEST HUSBAND IN THE WORLD....I  LOVE  YOU with all of my heart for always taking care of me!!
FYI, just so ya'll know, the fact that Lonnie surprises me with gifts all of the time isn't why he's the best husband in the world, his heart and the man that he is altogether is why he will always wear that crown :muah:

So, I hope to be seeing ya'll around a bit more, still won't be as much because I'm still on bedrest and when my meds are decreased I have many, many, many socks to knit for my man!!!

I've missed ya'll so much :muah:

:muah: :muah: Ya'll are all so sweet! I'm not fully back yet, it's loaded with the new Vista version from Microsoft so I hope to spend part of the day learning about it and the computer...but you know I'll be dropping in! And....I'm gonna have to force myself to knit Lonnie's socks...that's awful, I should knit his 10 pair of socks before touching the laptop because of the way he treats me...but he and we all know that ain't happenin' :teehee:
Speaking of socks...the socks I'm knitting for him are a new design...I have another new design already done, and 3 versions of the "A Touch of Whimsy" socks on the drawing board, plus another pair for Amy. So, if all goes well and I continue to be blessed with the ability to design this and that we should have some new socks coming around in 2007. :cheering:
:muah: I've missed ya'll so much :muah:
I will certainly tell Lonnie what ya'll have said....he read a little bit of it last night when we were looking at the laptop and blushed a great deal!
I'm off to do my devotion and study and hopefully learn a bit about Vista and will be back later! :muah: :muah:

WOW, sorry guys...got this cool new laptop and still haven't been around  I've been busy learning a lot of things about this thing (LOVE IT) and finished up a couple of patterns, should be available in a day or 2. And, well, I confess to playing with my computer.
Health wise the doc finally let me out of bed a few days ago...slowly, very slowly...so it looks like a good spring it will be around here...hope the same holds true for all of you :muah:
