I am new to knitting am teaching myself and have a question about circular needles I bought some wood ones and they seem all twisted. Should I soak them in hot water to make them more pliable?

:thumbsup: Yeppers. You got the right idea. If you use boiling water, dip the cable in the water for a few seconds at a time just to be on non-melting safe side. ;)

Yes, but don't put the needles in water, just the cable part between them. The bamboo/wood may split from the water, and whether wood or metal, the join could be weakened.
