Hobbycrafts, 8-11 November NEC, Birmingham
The Knitting and stitching show (11-14 October Alexandra Palace) (1-4 November RDS Dublin) (22-25 November International Centre, Harrogate)

I'm in Newport which is just outside Cardiff, a little cheaper. Also lots of jobs here at the moment, we've just been given 'City' status and lots of things are being built or opened. We've also got a posh golf thing coming next year and the city is going mad to get ready for that.

nikkilc try angle yarns brilliant service, always try their best for you. you can order online or call them. will run around finding yarn while you wait on the line so they can tell you what ever info you need bering in mind this is not a shop so they have to run around upstairs or downstairs to find the yarn of storage shelves. A company that send you little sweeties in with your yarn is OK by me.

By the way I live in Essex

Check out the Odball Baby blanket thread in Charity knitting where we are starting a blanket in the UK for valentine in all red and pinks. any takers

I am in California, but I have a question for a UK knitter. I am doing a Debbie Bliss teddy bear and I apparently don't speak The Queen's English Knitting Language: the pattern says, "Dec one st at each end of 5th row and foll 4th row, then on 2 foll alt rows." As a Yank, I can only say, "HUH?"
