I don't know about virginia beach, but The Knitting sisters in williamsburg is fabulous!! And you probably want to visit Williamsburg anywhere while you're in the area. Welcome to Virginia.

I like Ewe Knit Kits & Yarn. It is a little tricky to find but the staff is very friendly and helpful.
