Since I have been visiting this site, posting and watching Amy's AMAZING video tutorials, I have learned so much about knitting that I never knew existed. I can knit an entrelac pattern, knit backwards and ML (as of about an hour ago.
Now when I go to my LYS and ask them about things like entrelac and MLing, they look at me like I come from Mars.
Amazing to me that thanks to this site, I now know more about knitting than most of the women working in my LYS.
How cool is that?
Best,
Susan

:teehee: I haven't noticed that yet, but I know the girls I knit with look at me as some kind of knitting expert goddess. I keep telling them I have only been knitting for a year and half and learned all I know from this site! :teehee:

It's here: Knitting Back (http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/basic_techniques/purl.php) -- scroll to the bottom to find it.

This encourages me a lot!!
I guess I'm a scary cat to try something more
challenging than usual garter stitch scarf and blanket.
