but when you go to look something up, all I get to is the cover of a magazine, or a pic of the pattern in question
never to something I can recognize as a patterns to knit

When you're on this page (http://www.garnstudio.com/lang/en/kategori_oversikt.php), and you see the little pictures - I think the first row, the one that has 3 pictures, show the catalogues if you click on the picture but then from there you can click on each catalogue to see the patterns that are in each. Then, click on the little flag below the picture and you'll get to the patterns.

Or just ignore the first row of pictures, and all the ones below are organized by type of pattern. Again, you'll have to click on the flag to access the actual pattern.
