its lion brand wool lion wool natural color..same as dd booties (it was left over! :cheering: ) i was mostly afraid of accidently felting it.. :woohoo:

PurlyGyrl- it was so easy! i just mixed maybe a 1/4 tsp of color with warm water in a measureing cup, maybe 1cp h2o?, and in another cup mixed the red. i used a dropper to place the dye on the yarn(after letting it soak in hot water with vinegar then squeezing some out), and when it was as i liked, i microwaved it. it was too red still so i dumped the whole thing in a pot . added somemore water to cover, added a touch more blue to the water, and let it get hot, turned the stove off. after about 40 minutes i rinsed and was happy.
