Things that float:
Small rocks
Bits of wood
Ducks
Fire trucks
Yes, fire trucks. Apparently getting 5 inches of rain in 8 hours will put down enough water to float a fire truck out of a neighborhood into the street! The 7-foot-deep creek about 200 yards from my house was suddenly 100 yards from my house! It's getting squooshy out here...

This is what happens when a thread gets highjacked by Monty Python nerds.
It will either end in hilarity or something terrible.
(We're reinacting a scene from one of the greatest movies OF ALL TIME: Monty Python and the Holy Grail)

Has anyone else heard the Spamalot soundtrack or seen the show? I have the soundtrack, and it's hilarious!

I got to see it, for free, orchestra seats, original cast. :teehee: Well, Patsy was replaced by his understudy after the first act.
But Hank Azaria as Lancelot and Tim Curry as King Arthur?
Brilliant.

I've seen the show and own the soundtrack. I know it's horrible of me, but I love reminding my friends who want to see it that I saw it with the original cast. Soooo amazing.

Me, too.
And then to really rub it in, I remind them that I saw it for FREE.
