Has anyone ordered from them before? Is the shipping prompt?

Thanks for the info!

I have twice- they shipped very fast to me, with no expedited charges or anything. I got the package well before I expected it. (within 4 days I think.) I've been very happy with them. I now have more projects planned than I know how to make!!!

Well, Thanks a lot :roflhard:
My checkbook is thinner now. But, I did get 1 bag of the cream and 1 bag of red Atom, only $8 a bag!  :cheering: And a skein of sock yarn. It would almost have been a crime not to have bought it!

Okay, I was looking at the "Mills End" sock yarn, and I don't know what it is. It looks yummy, but I want to know how good of a deal I'm getting before I order the sock yarn. Know what I mean? :teehee:

I was looking at that yarn too... i don't know what "mill end" means... will there be lots of knots? If yes, the savings isn't worth it to me.

If you search for the color names and sock yarn in google, you get this (http://www.simplysockyarn.com/Categories.bok?category=SOCK+YARN%3ACherry+Tree+Hi ll,+Supersock+Solids).

The sock yarn is Cherry Tree Hill.
I got my order in 2 days. I had ordered 3 bags of the bamboo (Its SouthWest Trading CO, normally $14 a ball), and 10 balls of "Simply Silk" which is SWTC Amerah (normally $13 each)

OooOoooh.

I don't know if mill's end means knotty. From what I've been seeing from Googling, they "aren't as perfect" or have funny dye lots. Could always call and ask!

Cats and cows on their way to Hollywood. Guess they don't want YARN??

I bought the bamboo in Navy. I really wanted couple of other colors too, but 2500 yds is a lot of yarn, y'know? I'll probably make a tank top and a short sleeve summer top OR a full-sleeved summer cardigan.

I felt up some bamboo at the LYS the other day (different brand) and it was sooooft. I'm hoping this is too.
How does bamboo work up and wash up? Anyone tried it? Thanks!

Happy middle of the week!

Have a feather & fan shawl in progress out of Bamboo. Did a swatch before starting & washed it just to see how it would go.... it's so soft.

I have the bamboo- in the dark teal color. I love it! I haven't washed it- still just casting on. but other bamboo I've used washes up nicely. (gentle, cool water, no dry blah blah blah) The yarn has a nice sheen and drape. I'm making more summer tops out of mine.

I have the bamboo in Sahara, Purple, Teal and Cobalt. I swapped out some with people on another board, so as not to have 2500 yads of each color, but 1250. See if anyone else here is ordering and co-ordinate to swap!
It is soft, but even softer after you wash and it has bloomed! Cant beat the price!
Oh, and I dont know what colors are left because I ordered a month ago, but the cobalt blue is my favorite of the colors!

Thanks for the bamboo feedback, guys. My order shipped yesterday and I can't wait to have it in my hands. And thanks for the swap idea too.

If anyone would want to swap 3 balls of the bamboo in Navy with me, let me know.. I like cobalt, sahara, brown, and bougainvillea. :muah:
