04-04-2007, 07:51 PM
I need to find out if my yarnee has Creative Knitting (May 2007 Issue)............so I guess I just need everyone to answer! :teehee:

Meanwhile, y'all can also tell me what your fav mags so I can decide what/if to subscribe to any.

i don't have any knitting magazines at all

I don't have that particular one, but I do subscribe to:

Vogue Knitting
Interweave Knits

There is one mag that I picked up from the book store the other week and I was disappointed because it is called something KNIT. It had KNIT in the title and some of the patterns were crochet. I don't crochet. Disappointing. Maybe it was Knit Simple?

It's probably not me, but... I got the newest knit simple for the tank tops, but I've never really looked at knitting magazines.

I just bought Interweave Knits out of curiosity but that is the extent of my magazines right now. (except for my CBS Soaps in Depth  )

Nope. At least, I don't think so. My magazines are scattered everywhere. lol

Vogue knitting and knit simple I got, but I haven't seen that one yet... looks like it has several cute patterns in it, too! It's got good variety, something I've noticed many magazines don't have.

I like this issue of vogue because of the lacework. I was trying to be good and not buy *every* issue... but I couldn't resist!

Don't have it. I'm sure it isn't even available here.

Never heard of it, is it American? My brother brought me back Interweave Knits and 'Knit it' (I think) from America :cheering: I get 'Simply Knitting' (UK mag) sometimes

04-05-2007, 08:03 AM
I get just about every Mag. either through the mail or off the shelve. I just :muah: love Knitting Mags :notworthy: .

04-05-2007, 08:33 AM
nope- no subscriptions, but I do buy off the rack when tempted. Interweave knits and knit simple are the 2 I've bought most....

04-05-2007, 08:37 AM
I've never heard of that one. I get Cast On and Interweave knits. Then I'll pick up knit1 or vogue knitting if I see something I really like in it.

04-05-2007, 09:47 AM
I don't have that one. I have a subscription to Interweave Knits and I buy Vouge when it comes out (I should just subscribe). I stalk the magazine racks at Barnes & Noble to see what else looks good!

Never heard of it, is it American? My brother brought me back Interweave Knits and 'Knit it' (I think) from America :cheering: I get 'Simply Knitting' (UK mag) sometimes :mrgreen:I just saw it on the stand at a store buying for my yarnee (& myself :teehee:) and got it. I was looking it over and thinking :?? I'd like to get myself one too, it's got great stuff in it. Now to explain to hubby why I need 2 copies of the same mag :teehee: I haven't told him about the swap yet, he'll probably have some great ideas on more stuff to put in the box!

Looking forward to seeing who my yarner is and revealing myself to my yarnee :happydance:. This is fun!

04-05-2007, 04:02 PM

04-05-2007, 06:41 PM
I   my creative knitting ( i am working on the camisole tank top righ now) btw: and I got the first issue free and then bought the subscriptions. Then i went and bought a subscription to Knit n style last week.... yesterday i took a crochet class with my 2 buddies ( the tank top calls for a crochet border) and I went to hobby lobby today and looked at creative crochet~ Now I want a subscription to it~!! :happydance: :cheering: :cheering:

Arieurllia: IMHO knitting mags are great; you get new pattesrn ( which change for the season) every other month. They are a lot cheaper than buying every new knitintg book that comes out~ we won't discuss how much $$$ Ainee has spent on knittin books... and the fact I don't have anymore bookspace for them)

get for them: it's a GREAT idea~! :happydance: :cheering:
