It was awesome. I wasn't actually on the way to my LYS as it was Good Friday (but I will be stopping by today), but when I heard about a flash mob / pillow fight how could I not make the short trip to the South End? My crappy camera died in the middle of the fight, so the rest of the photos (the even worse quality ones) were taken on my phone.

This was just a random event that was advertised on facebook, lj communities, myspace, and the like. I think I may have seen some posters around my school's campus, as well. Halifax is a university city (with three major universities and many colleges) so though it was mainly students participating, the event was all-ages and took place in Victoria Park, a public space.

It's apparently a trend that has been going around lately. Other cities which have held Pillow Fights are Vancouver, Toronto, New York, and San Fransisco. Much fun.
