Hi, I am hoping someone can help me. I purchased some Baby Bee-- Lambie Pie yarn at Hobby Lobby when I was in the States to make a baby blanket. I can't find any patterns for this type of yarn and the gauge on the ball is for crochet. Has anyone knit with this yarn or have a pattern for it.

The website says 4.5 mm/US size 7 needle, but doesn't give a gauge range.

I imagine any baby blanket pattern for a worsted weight yarn would be fine, but I would stick with a simpler pattern, as the "fuzz" will probably camoflage most patterning.

First of all, welcome to the forum!

About the Yarn Bee Lambie Pie, I found a recommendation to use US size 7 needles (http://www.craftsetc.com/Store/ShowProduct.aspx?p=113969). However, don't go by what the label says. Yarn Bee yarns are very often mislabeled. For instance, their Sweet Delight yarn is a very fine weight yarn, but it's labeled "Bulky." (It's so fine that you can knit socks from it!) Go figure...

You could use size 7-10, whatever gives you the feel you like.

I think the Sweet Delight is labeled a 4 for worsted, but yeah, the plain colors and ombres are definitely a DK weight. The twist ones are thicker.

Thanks everyone. I used 10 circ. and did garter stitch for 5 rows then stocking st with 5 stitches garter each side for border. It is looking very nice.
