View Full Version : My first knitted item: Baby bib
I used the bib pattern on this site and knit a baby blue bib. This was easy, I could finish it in an hour or two.
I know it's not something large scale, but hey, I am excited. This is my first one, after all!
PS: BTW, does FO mean Finished Object?

Wonderful job! :cheering:
Thanks for the encouraging comments.
My next item on the list is a scarf. I need to buy yarn for that, so it might be a while before I post that as my FO!

Nice! I like that color a lot. I just made this same bib (with variegated Sugar n Cream), and someone who just had a baby said that the tie wasn't long enough (i thought it was, but I figured she would know more than I), so I made it longer with five buttonholes. I had already bound off, so I picked up five stitches along the end and just kept on knitting. I haven't found a cute button yet. I was thinking a duck button would be cute.
