Just in case anyone here shares my impulse to: a) catapult myself into projects that are way over my head, and/or b) find beautiful free knitting patterns online to make my project list interminably long....

I came across this the other day (via CRAFT (http://craftzine.com/blog/)magazine): http://chezplum.com/knitting-from-the-french/

She gives a french-english dictionary for knitting terms, and links to free french knitting patterns online. Personally, I'm excited to finally not be limited to only the Phildar (http://www.phildar.fr/)patterns that they choose to translate to English. :)

Merci Katrina! I'm a native french speaker but, believe it or not, I have trouble following a pattern in French. It's just simpler for me in English. :teehee: Maybe this site could help me understand why!
