Just received an email from one of my sorority sisters.
We haven't talked in a very long time and it was so good to hear from her. So it got me to thinking--any Greeks on KH.

I'll start--Alpha Sigma Tau.

Kappa Kappa Gamma here. It's actually a women's fraternity-founded before the term sorority was in popular use by some very courageous women.

Kappa Kappa Gamma here.

>.>

Hate to say it, but that house is known as "Whama Bama Gamma" on my campus because of how easy the girls in the house are. But, that's probably just a WY thing, I don't know anything about the house in other states. Just that it's funny to watch the chicks that live there complain about the cold in the middle of winter while wearing mini skirts and tube tops. :roflhard:

That's a nice thing to say about my sisters. That being said, chapters differ wildly from campus to campus. I just would never say that about a group of people I don't really know.

I personally found Kappa a great place to meet strong, self sufficient women who are now doing amazing things and were then as well.

I guess making fun of sorority members is fun, kind of like making fun of knitters is fun for people who don't knit.

I'm Greek and proud of it, but I don't want to have to express my opinions any stronger so I don't think I'll post about this again.

Ladies, I just want to remind everyone that often tone of voice and inflection are lost in online "conversations" . If you mean something in jest, let us know with the emoticons.

Thanks!

I started this to find out about my online family of knitters.
