I just watched the video of the kitcheners stitch. If I am going to try to use that to close the toe of my sock, when it says to work the decrease round till there are 8 stitches left,do I divide them between two needles or should I have more stitches to work with? My sock pattern is Knitting Pure and Simple Beginner's Light Weight Socks. Thanks!!

Yes, the stitches will be divided onto two needles. You'll do the bind-off (kitchener) with a third needle.

I've used the pattern you are using a few times now and I love they way they bind off the toe. I can do the Kitchner, but the toes come out more round the other way. JMO

Happy knitting!
