I got a pattern for a felted handbag from my stepdad's mother as a gift, and in order to make the I-cord strap, I'm supposed to use US15 DPNs. I've looked on ebay, and all I've found are huge lots of multiple sets of needles; I can't just buy what I need. If anyone has a set they'd be willing to sell, or knows where I can find a set for individual sale, please let me know.

Thanks!

one place (http://www.stitchesmarket.com/xcart/customer/product.php?productid=1213)

another place (http://www.yarn-store.com/double-point-knitting-needles.html)

There are a few places that sell them individually. You don't nececesarily need DPNs to do the i-cord. If you knit the bag, in the round on 15" circulars you can use the ciruclars like you would the DPNs - it might take a bit longer but would save the hassel of having to find US 15 DPNs.

Good luck!

If you have a size 15 circular needle, that will work too. I don't know that I've ever seen size 15 DPNs.

You could also just slide the stitches to the left hand needle again, too. With straight needles, that is. I've done this. It takes a little longer, but if you're only going to be using the size 15 dpn's once, why buy them at all?
(And ok, I only had to knit a few inches of i-cord, and it was only 3 stitches, so you may have to take my advice with a grain of salt.) :teehee:

Another option if you're willing to do a little work is to make your own - Amy's got a video tute somewhere on here that shows how. I made 3 sets of dpns - 5 needles each, using dowels I bought @ craft stores - Michael's etc. I brought a needle guage and used it to get the size dowel I needed, then cut and sanded 'em.

Bonus for you - you'd only need to do 2 needles!!
