Has anyone ever used Sinfonia yarn (http://www.craftsetc.com/Store/ShowProduct.aspx?p=231845)before? I was wanting to make my first pair of socks and I thought this would be a nice, cheap yarn to start with. I wouldn't want to ruin good yarn on my first attempt. Just curious how it works up.

I'm currently knitting a pair of socks with Sinfonia cotton yarn and once I got used to it it's just fine.

It is very easy to split so just be careful about not letting it catch on the needle tips if you use sharp needles like Options. Otherwise, it seems pretty decent to me.

Great. I am going to pick some up and see where it goes from there!!

When I was at Hobby Lobby the other day, I noticed that too and wondered how a sock would work up with it.

What size needle are you using Mason? If you're making them for yourself, how do they feel on your feet?

I've used Cascade Fixation with Size 4 needles and they feel weird on my feet. :??
