These were made for my secretary's grandson from the pattern Socks for Children in Common and using Red Heart Super Saver (ugh). The color is Mexicana, which really looked like a little boy to me. This is really an easy pattern. Socks for Children in Common is a charity that provides socks to children all over the world. You can find the pattern and other infor at http://countrywool.tripod.com/freepatterns/csocks.htm

They may be Red Heart Super Saver but I'm sure your secretary's grandson will love them! It looks very fun and festive too... :)

I've made that pattern, too. It's also in the book Knitting for Peace. Cute!
