I was inspired by Melissa to make this scarf after seeing her beautiful FO. It's a Christmas present for my younger sister.
The pattern suggest 10mm needles but I seemed to be knitting too loose so changed to 9mm. I used Sirdar Click chunky with wool (70% acrylic, 30% wool). The colour is a swampy green I suppose(!) shade 0150. I blocked it slightly then found I still needed to press it to stop it rolling at the sides but I'm really pleased with the end result. I've learned kitchener stitch as well so another new thing!

Yes - I knitted 2 identical sides then joined with kitchener stitch! It's so quick and easy - it's made me look like a super skilled knitter!!

That is really pretty! After Melissa posted pix of hers, I printed out the pattern...my sister-in-law loves hearts and her Birthday is in February! I've never done the Kitchener stitch, so that will give me something new to learn!
