I'm so loving the new forum style!!
I have finished another pair of socks for Lonnie, Rockin' Strat Men's Socks (http://whimsicalknittingdesigns.blogspot.com/2007/05/rockin-strat-mens-socks-pattern.html)...he just got a vintage Stratocaster, thus the name. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y119/rebeccame/watermarks/th_rockinstratmenssocks4_edited-1.jpg (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y119/rebeccame/watermarks/rockinstratmenssocks4_edited-1.jpg) http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y119/rebeccame/watermarks/th_rockinstratmenssocks9_edited-1.jpg (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y119/rebeccame/watermarks/rockinstratmenssocks9_edited-1.jpg) These require 150 grams of sock yarn and should you choose to play around with the toes like I did, a little bit of another color of sock yarn. I used size 0 and 2 needles. It's got a st. pattern that isn't too busy, enough to keep your attention and not so much to drive you crazy. LOL, when Lonnie gets all of the socks that he wants I then want to try to design some of those complicated socks that drive socknitters crazy, LOL :wink: This was a fun knit...as is everything I knit for my honey!

It's fun to knit socks for Lonnie because he loves them so. But, you are right, SandraEllen, it takes some time to knit for big feet! And then Lonnie likes his socks to have a long leg so most of his socks need 150 gr of sock yarn and when I was 1st buying sock yarn for him I bought 100 gr but now I have enough sock yarn to make him plenty of socks...they just take so long to knit....well, truthfully, the last sock that I knit for him I have knit partially (well, over 1/2 way) and had to frog because I didn't check the gauge on the st pattern:rollseyes: LOL, how embarrassing is that, LOL, especially because I had done the same thing about 2 or 3 pairs previously, LOL:rofl::roflhard:
