I have just experienced my idea of a perfect evening...

Been watching a 2 1/2 Men marathon, knitting, having a slice of banana nut bread and a big glass of milk. The kitties have been curled up around me, yet not trying to eat my yarn. *sigh* Its been a nice relaxing evening.

It's the little things, isn't it?:knitting:

I've had lots of knitting time today as well. Not as productive as I had hoped, but I'm learning alot.

Glad you had a super day!:woot:

I love evenings like that! I don't have kitties though, but I have a boyfriend. Does that count? He doesn't eat my yarn. :rofling:

Yes, Iza, a boyfriend counts as long as you remember not to pull his tail and he doesn't eat your yarn.

That does sound like the perfect evening. Amazing how little moments like that can make a bad day just fade away! I'm glad you had a chance to relax, Chel!

That does sound like a wonderful evening!
We don't have pets (my kids have allergies), but at night, when my 4 yr old daughter is getting tired, she asks if she can hold my yarn. She'll sit next to me very quietly, and just hold my yarn in her lap, giving me more yarn when I need it, and rewinding the extra. It's so cute. I love moments like that.
