This is a size 6 month baby sweater, I made for a friend from an online message board. I made this sweater and another in size 24 months in one weekend.

It's made with Lorna's Lace Shepard Worsted in Mariner colors.

I love Knitting Pure and Simple patterns!

What a cutie, even if he's a bit unhappy.

The sweater is adorable on him.

Thanks! It's fun watching how the pattern comes up. On the bigger size I made it striped more than this one.

Oh and I got an email from Knitting Pure and Simple and she wants to post one of my sweaters on her website gallery!

I love your yarn choice! I really like items for babies that are not just pink or blue.

Right now I am knitting another baby button up cardigan. One of my Cousins just became a Dad on Monday.

The other cardigans I made for our future baby(no not pregnant right now we're working on it) are not in typical baby colors. You can see those on my knitting blog.

Thanks again for the wonderful comments!

Love the sweater...I have not made a sweater yet....my nephew and his wife just had a baby...I have made a blanket, a hat and some booties for him...this might just be the next project for him.

I love this baby sweater, the colours used are great and the pattern looks great.

I checked out the knittingpureandsimple.com website and loved a lot of their patterns. Unfortunately, no stores near me carry the patterns. I have made an inquiry with a store on the east coast to see if they will fill an order for me. My fingers are crossed.

UPDATE: I have found a supplier. Yay.

Sassy thanks!

If you're west coast I could send patterns to you. My local yarn shop sells them.

Tonight I started a second sweater, same color and size can't wait!
