This is some stuff I've had sitting around for a bit. Between work and life in general I haven't had time to do much knitting but I finally decided if I didn't take some time for me and do some therapy knitting I was going to lose it...so here a a couple of things I took pics of.

My Booga backpack. I adapted the pattern and added an I-cord and shoulder straps.

I need to finish the scarf and felt the bag. I'm doing laundry today so I'll likely throw it in with a pair of jeans later.

I've been experimenting with I-cord draw strings. Do you find that it opens and closes easily, or do you have to fuss with it a bit?

Knitabit..this is the first one I've made so I don't know how its going to work out. Its definitely fiddly before felting but I have hopes that it will be smoother once its felted.

You might already be planning to do this :hiding: but I wanted to share what has worked for me. I threaded non-wool yarn (like 5 or 6 strands) through the eyelets to keep them open. Cotton or acrylic will work for this. Felt the i-cord with the bag, but not in the eyelets. The more yarn you thread through the eyelets the less they will "shrink". I've found that i cords work well as drawstrings. I hope you'll post pictures when it is felted!
