I'm stumped on two things.

1) Do I start with the 'Stitch pattern' or the 'Instructions'? :ick: I feel I should know this. I started at teh instructions since that's where it tells me how many to cast on. But then what/

2) What is sl 1, k1, yo pass slipped st over both the k1 and yo and off the needles mean. :doh: I know the 'terms' I just don't know what to actually DO. :frog:

I'm feeling like an idiot here. I know I should KNOW this stuff. Maybe it's just the head cold I have.

You start with the instructions, and then do the stitch pattern for the crown.

For the other, slip a stitch, k1, bring the yarn over the needle for a yo, then pass the slipped stitch over both the k1 and the yo and off the end of the needle.
