View Full Version : Tea Cozy

I made a small tea cozy following this pattern: http://knitty.com/ISSUEwinter04/PATTkureyonkozy.html
Several Months ago another KH person posted one they made using sugar and cream cotton instead of wool, so I did the same. A washable tea cozy seems a bit more useful. This happens to be peaches and cream in lilac ombre. This was a quick knit with a few moderate challenges that made it fun to work on.

Very Alice in Wonderland meets NewAmy knit :-) Good for you and way way better to have a readily washable product for that sort of purpose.

that is so sweet it looks like a flower! that would make such a nice picture with tea cups and the pot and a tray of yummies.... To me, tea in a tea pot is a very special occasion. (I'm one of those awful people who uses tea bags, microwaves water in the mug and all...)

Oh how cute is that!!! I wanted to make this pattern also but thought using wool would make it hard to wash. I might try this myself. after I finish the 6 gazillion things I have on my needles:rollseyes:

That is very cute. I might just have to knit some up for my MIL. She loves having 'tea parties' and has no Cozy's to keep the tea warm.
