I just finished this shawl and love it. I knitted it in very inexpensive yarn in order to learn all the lace stitches and not worry about the cost factor. As it turns out, I like it as is! I used Laines Du Nord "Amerino". Think I will do it again with Rowan Cotton Rope or the like. Haven't posted in a while. My son got married last weekend and I have been totally immersed in the preparations. Maybe I'll sneak in a pic of that too!

I love it! I bookmarked the pattern now.. hehe. It's funny, I can't knit socks or sweaters, but I can knit lace...

hi, I am starting the Oceane pattern and everytime I get to row 9 there are too many stitches. Is there a correction out there? I must not be doing row 8 correctly? Help!

Great job on the shawl. You have a handsome son and daughter-in-law and I love those bridesmaid's dresses.
